Concept
The reason why this application was created, the background of development,
and the thoughts behind the application.
What kind of experience would be created by combining the power of technology with the traditional Japanese culture of ikebana? This is the question that started this application.
It all started when I became interested in ikebana after watching a TV drama. From there, I went to ikebana practice myself, learned and felt what I felt, and put it all into the form of an app.
This application aims to create a world where anyone who wants to try ikebana can freely experience it in 3D, without restrictions on location, tools, or cost. For beginners, there is a style mode that makes ikebana “easy and pleasing,” and for experienced ikebana practitioners, there is a flower exhibition function that expands the scope of their creations and allows them to interact with works from around the world. We have designed the game so that ikebana can be enjoyed more from each user’s perspective.
Of course, there are parts of ikebana that cannot be achieved in real life. However, if we can transcend these limitations and bring the joy and depth of ikebana to someone who has never experienced it before, I feel that this application is meaningful in its own right.
Ikebana x Technology From Tradition to Creation
I would be happy if this application can be a link to the future.
